This hasn’t exactly been working out. To be completely honest, I think a change needs to be made. I’m not sure I can keep up with doing a color comic every single week. By the time all is said and done, I’ve spent about twenty hours per comic and I just can’t justify that kind of effort all for the 3 and a half people that know this comic exists. Plus, it means the story is paced slow as shit and I have a feeling it’s kind of hard to follow / remember to look at.
So I’m rededicating myself to Silver Age. And that means a few changes, some good and some bad. Instead of 1 color comic a week, I’ll be trying to put out 2 slightly less dense black and white comics a week. This means a reduced panel count, but also bigger art and overall more content per week. In addition, I’m going to make an effort to start using the “blog” section as a proper blog, with regular posts! A post every day seems like a bit much but I guess that’s what I’m shooting for.
The new schedule starts next Wednesday! See you then.
(How have you been?)
Howdy everybody! Welcome to the shiny new Silver Age webcomic site. This has to be what, the 5th time I’ve returned from “extended hiatus”? We’ll see how long it lasts this time.
For new readers (as if I have any readers left over from 2009 har har har) who are completely unfamiliar with Tim and Bill, consult the about page. I went through the trouble of writing it just for you. Yes, you.
Here’s to regular updates! Maybe. We’ll see.
Silver Age is a webcomic. Silver Age updates on mondays. Silver Age is in color, except when it isn't. Silver Age is drawn and written by Charlie Gavin.
